Get TicketsDavid Shepard and Serge Bromberg are two of the best, and certainly most engaging film archivists in the world. They’re also friends and business partners. Last year, the DSFF’s Lifetime Achievement Award went to Shepard, and this year's to Bromberg. The list of films the two have restored is very long; in the past year, Bromberg is responsible for the difficult and expensive restoration of the originally hand-colored 1902 A Trip to the Moon. The two will show clips, talk about archiving, preservation and restoration, and be both inspiring and delightful.
This is a free event! However, you will still need to get a ticket to reserve your seat.
